Discover Hertford Castle’s fascinating history on this one-hour outdoor guided tour, tracing its story from William the Conqueror to the present day.
Tours are led by the Friends of Hertford Castle, a dedicated team of volunteers who steward at Castle Open Days and bring a wealth of historical knowledge to every tour. Gain unique insights into the Castle grounds and uncover the remarkable stories that lie “Within These Walls.”
Tickets: £5 per person — all proceeds support the Mayor of Hertford Appeal Fund.
Meeting Point: Please arrive 5 minutes before the tour and assemble by the pedestrian gate at The Wash, next to Wetherspoons and BEAM.
